East Cantonments Pharmacy Limited (ECPL), donates two Dialysis Machines with accessories and 138 cartons of catheters to the 37 Military Hospital

East Cantonments Pharmacy Limited (ECPL), wholesalers and retailers of assorted medical items has donated two Dialysis Machines, its accessories and 138 cartons of dialysis catheters to the Dialysis Unit of the 37 Military Hospital. The Thirty-Six Thousand Dollars ($36,000.00) worth of equipment was to strengthen the hospital’s capability of delivering critical care to patients with kidney and other related issues. The General Manager of ECPL, Mr Kwaku Bediako described the equipment as a vital resource for battling kidney disease. He added that the contribution of his company to the hospital was a beacon of a collective effort to enhance the quality of healthcare delivery at the hospital. Mr Kwaku Bediako stressed that the company recognized that the 37 Military Hospital serves the Ghanaian populace hence the kind gesture to lessen the burden and bring relief to those facing the health challenge. The Officer-In-charge (OIC) of Medical Division of the 37 Military Hospital, Colonel Adokwei Myers received the items on behalf of the Commander of the 37 Military Hospital, Brigadier General Prosper Ayibor and expressed profound gratitude to the ECPL for their benevolence. He added that the donation would help the hospital to enroll patients who were hitherto not enrolled due to the limited number of dialysis machines.
